I have not written about my Thanksgiving yet, but fear not, it is not too late. My grandparents were visiting so the holiday became quite the family affair and included:
- 32 pounds of turkey (one 10 pound and one 22 pound turkey).
- A 25 pound ham.
- Nearly 20 pies.
- More than 30 relatives.
- My little sister’s newest boyfriend, who my relatives kept confusing for mine. It was extraordinarily awkward. I had to continually explain that mine was in Spokane.
- Plenty of political discussion. You know those people who think Obama is a terrorist, not a citizen, etc? I now know a lot of them.
- All the other expected Thanksgiving dishes.
- Lots of catching up on sleep and little to no homework.

Dude. Me too. And if they don’t think he’s a terrorist, they KNOW he’s a communist.
… Please ignore my previous use of the word “dude.”
