The first day of Evergreen training is over and it’s on to day two. Day 1 included relatively few mishaps. The ones that stick out in my mind are the dozen donuts I forgot at the store as soon as I bought them and the fact that my computer has to be sent back to wherever it came from. Something about a bad RAM card.
I really just feel relieved that things are underway and I’m not waiting anymore. I have already been impressed with the section editors and the rest of the staff. I changed my voice mail and have started returning e-mails, so it’s all finally starting to sink in.
I feel calmer than I thought I would. Since it’s me, that doesn’t say much and I wouldn’t say I’m calm by any means, but things are moving. I’m trying to keep up.

Hopefully the broken computer isn’t my fault, but it probably is.

Wasn’t broken when I used it. I only used it for a few weeks, though.
Good luck with the first issue.
